Instead of working 5 days and then having a 3 day weekend, China makes its citizens (questionable noun) work 7 days straight and then have 3 days holiday.
I am boycotting China for this and going to Hong Kong for holiday when this is over.
Good day and zi jian.
'xplain, please. 7+3 = 10. Does that mean that the 3-day weekend is followed by a 4-day work week, for a net loss of one day off (11 work days out of 14?)
ReplyDeleteJuan-apologies if I was unclear. So the week BEFORE the holiday, China worked Monday through Sunday. Holiday/no work Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday. Back to work Thursday and Friday. Back to a regular weekend Saturday and Sunday. Ridiculous.
